Description

It's not a photomanipulation, it's a pic. It's just me in front of a paper (as I've done in Enigma) but this time I got two different focus: one behind the paper (that makes the lighter part) and another one in front of me (that lights myself and a toy fish supported by a fishing thread :)) Hope I helped with your doubts!

Of course I can explain how I've done this : ) It's not a photomanipulation, it's a pic. To dakoo: As I said, all that's "flowing in the air" is subjected with fishing thread (the plastic ball as bubbles too).

I cant understand this. Yes I read your description, but still this smells like you used lot of photoshop, too much for my taste. :(
Ill deal whit this as if it would be a manip.= WELLL DONE! :)

Avatar valkirye

 10/25/06 @832

I'm really tired of explain how I've done this... YES, I know the background seems with a lot of photoshop, but try to put a piece of paper in front of a window or a wall, and after use a software to remove the noise, it looks like this, because I always use paper (the paper I use to draw in Fine Arts, what I'm studying) as backgrounds. But if everybody will be more satisfied if I move it into the Photomanipulation section, ok, I'll.

its actually quite simple to understand how it was done...but the effect you created is fabulous!:)
do NOT move this into photo manip

Do not be impeded by those who have a hard time accepting the elegance of your work like little kids who get pissed off at the magician we he tells them it's not really magic...

It's obvious that you are a fine artist. I don't care how you achieve your final results - it's not the technique that should be at the heart of this discussion, it's the impact that the final piece makes. Your work inspires me.

For those photography-purist brow-beaters:
1. "Dodging and burning are steps to take care of mistakes God made in establishing tonal relationships."

2. "You don't take a photograph, you make it."

3. "There are no rules for good photographs, there are only good photographs."

- Ansel Adams

As tiring as it must be to defend your work, realize that it's good for you and for those who so harshly critique you to have these exchanges. Just as you can not stop creating your art, you can not stop sharing it wit the world. - jason
